Hello again one and all.
Important news first ...
As we seem to have quite a
break between our first and second events of the year, at the suggestion of
Dave Watson we have organised another event on April 25th : As part of the
Federation of Historic Vehicle Clubs "Drive it Day" we have planned not one but
two Road runs to the East Anglian Transport Museum , Carlton Colville, nr
Lowestoft. You can either start at Saxmundham or Norwich Cattle Market, we will
then meet up and have our normal Pedaler Display at the museum. An entry form
is included with this Newsletter so get it filled in and sent off and let's
have a good East Coast Pedaler turn out for this event !
Not too much
happening at the moment but we know many of you are preparing your machines for
another busy year of Pedaler events. Unfortunately we had to cancel the Not the
Hangover Run in December as the road conditions really did not lend themselves
to NACC runs at that time. The Valentines Day run went off very well and we had
another good turnout with several new members having their first Pedaler
experience.
With this newsletter there is a
calendar of events for this year, there is lots
going on and of course there are events nearly every weekend up and down the
country to which Pedalers are always made very welcome. We are hoping to see
many Cyclemotors, and other slower machines out on our runs this year so if you
have something laying unloved in the back of your shed, start fettling it and
bring it to the events this year !! To get things moving we are dedicating our
Saturday Breck Farm Run to such machines and we are hoping to see lots of
Cyclemasters, Power Packs, Trojans, Berinis, Mosquitos, Cyclaids, Wisps, Ariel
3s etc all lined up ready for the Saturday afternoon run in Norfolk.
Don't forget to have a look at the EastCoast Pedalers pages on
Facebook, loads of pictures, siily comments, general mickey taking and info on
past events are on there.
