| THE FORUM |
Following several suggestions from members, we have set up a Buzzing Forum to enable members of the NACC to exchange information. The Forum can be accessed by anyone on the Internet but you require to be a member in order to contribute. So the first time you try to post to the Forum you will be invited to join (if you haven't done so already). Joining is simple and of course free, it would be appreciated if in the message part of the simple form you include your NACC membership number. The administrator will then enable access. IMPORTANT The Forum makes use of a free facility offered by an Internet company. As we don't pay them for it if they stop offering the service we will have to find a new provider and of course we can't do much about this (note the key words here are 'Free Facility'). Because the Forum enables the free exchange of information between members the NACC as a club cannot be legally responsible for the content. For example, if a member is induced to buy anything from another member he has met on the Forum then that is entirely at his/her own risk and the club takes no responsibility and will not become involved in any such dispute. However, the administrator of the Forum is entitled to remove any information on the Forum without notice and will act speedily to remove posts if notified of an offensive or dishonest post. Currently, the club does not wish the Forum to be used to buy and sell items preferring members to make use of the free advertising service in Buzzing magazine, Buzzing is sent to all members and has a much wider circulation among members than the Forum (not all members having Internet access).
