Investigation into alleged deception.

I regret to report that we have been in receipt of an anonymous email containing a serious accusation and certain evidence which has thrown some doubt as to the authenticity of the photograph of Dave Casper submitted for inclusion in the 'Members Pix' section of the website. If it is proven that the picture was in fact "Staged" and the depicted scene entirely fictitious this would be a very serious matter indeed for the club. Whilst a certain degree of "touching up" of submitted photographs is perfectly reasonable (e.g. Nick Devonport painting in a bit of designer-stubble on his submission in order to look a bit trendy) the view of the judges in this case is it has been taken far too far. The NACC is however a democratic club and we would ask members to carefully study the two pictures below and using their best and objective judgement decide for themselves if this was a deliberate attempt to hoodwink the judges or just reasonable cosmetic enhancement.
